Cricket
I'm passionate about providing high-quality cricket coaching to players of all ages and skill levels. As the head coach at Cheshunt Rosedale Cricket Club, I oversee the pathways that offers cricket opportunities to boys and girls aged 5-17, as well as competitive and social cricket for adult men’s and women’s teams. Our club fosters a welcoming environment where players can develop their skills, enjoy the game, and be part of a supportive cricketing community.
Beyond club cricket, I run after-school cricket clubs at Bonneygrove Primary School, Goffs Academy, Goffs Churchgate Academy, and St Mary’s Church of England High School. These sessions help young cricketers build confidence, improve their technique, and develop a love for the sport in a fun and engaging setting.
Additionally, I coach on a casual basis for Herts Cricket, contributing to the development of young players at a county level. I also work with JDS Coaching, run by my good friend Johan Da Silva, on a variety of programs including the highly regarded Monmouth residential camp.
With 20 years of experience in 1-to-1 coaching, I have helped countless cricketers refine their skills, build confidence, and reach their goals.
Through Chew Coaching, my mission is to make cricket accessible, enjoyable, and rewarding for players at all levels, ensuring they have the opportunity to grow both on and off the field. The reason cricket remains my number one sport is that it offers the most opportunities for children to develop not only a variety of life skills, but socially, emotionally, mentally and physically.
